Alzheimer's event helps good cause

Friday June 29, 2012

As the Berkshires gear up for another awesome summer, here’s one event not to miss -- this Sunday’s very special Alzheimer’s benefit with David Hyde Pierce. Incredible food in the lush courtyard at The Orchards in Williamstown with David starting at 11:30 a.m. -- yep, we’ve got that. A laughter-filled afternoon at the Williamstown Theatre Festival at "The Importance of Being Earnest" (directed by Hyde Pierce!) at 2:00 p.m. -- got that too. A great cause to benefit the Berkshires and beyond -- definitely got that! At the reception, David will share some insights into his unique take on this classic Oscar Wilde comedy, and touch on why he is an Alzheimer’s champion.

The price of a ticket for this fun and fabulous event for the Alzheimer’s Association will help bring needed resources and support to the Berkshires, aid research, and inspire a greater awareness of the impact Alzheimer’s has on families and communities. Do you already have theater tickets? You can still join us at the reception. There are some tickets available, but you’ll have to act fast. Call 413-499-0691. (In the meantime, you can get a sneak peek into the mind of the director here:
