America stuck in 19th century

Saturday March 9, 2013

Here we are in the 21st century, but we are operating in the 19th. Other countries are streamlining their infrastructure, but must of our roads and bridges need to repaired and updated. Guardrails need to be repaired, painted and renewed.

In Pittsfield, the railroad track that goes across Crane Avenue needs to be removed as the pavement there keeps breaking up. There are no trains crossing at that point anymore so let’s get those rails removed.

What have we done to make train travel better and faster? Other countries have developed bullet trains. We need this type of train to travel from coast to coast. This would create a lot of jobs.

We spend a lot of tax money and time in foreign countries when we should be concentrating on our own. Let other countries worry about their problems. I don’t see anybody running over here to help with our problems, as shown whenever we have a disaster.
