Annual Children's Winter Festival to be held in Boston

BOSTON >> A three-story-high inflatable snow tube slide known as Snowzilla will be among the attractions at the annual Children's Winter Festival on Boston Common.

The festival is sponsored each year by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department during school vacation week.

This year's festival will be held Tuesday. It will feature a DJ from Magic 106.7, a 15-foot-tall snow globe that allows participants to step inside for winter wonderland photos and free skating and rentals at the Boston Common Frog Pond.

The L.L. Bean Outdoor Discovery School will have instructors to lead a guided trek on snowshoes through Boston Common.
