Annual Fall Run: Where you can admire motorcycles for a good cause

ADAMS, MASS. — Traffic Alert: Be prepared for the rumbling hum of motorcycles on a mission this weekend.

Get your motor running at the 35th annual Fall Run in Adams, Mass., on Sunday. The bike run, which benefits Shriner's Childrens Hospital — the Springfield Unit — is a favorite of locals and bikers alike, kicking off at 11 a.m. from Bowe Field in Adams and winds 60 miles to Mohawk Park, in Charlemont, Mass.

Before the rubber hits the pavement on Sunday, Saturday night is bike night, when participating riders line up from 5 to 8 p.m. along the Visitors Center on Depot Street.

You don't have to have your motorcycle license to enjoy this town-wide event that marks the beginning of fall.
