Another body spotted in Boston river, 2nd day in a row
BOSTON (AP) -- For the second day in a row, a body has been spotted in the Charles River near Boston University.
State police say the latest body was spotted by a BU rowing coach at about 7:25 a.m. Tuesday.
The state police Marine Unit has responded to the scene for recovery and will take the body for identification.
There was no immediate word on gender or age.
The body of an older man was recovered from the river in the same general area on Monday. That person has not been publicly identified.
Authorities say the body recovered Monday was not a 23-year-old graduate student who has been missing for a week.
