Night to remember

From the writers of "The Hangover" -- John Lucas and Scott Moore -- comes "21 & Over," an R-rated raunchy comedy about a straight-A pre-med student (Justin Thon) whose 21st birthday celebration with his two best friends (Miles Teller and Jonathan Keltz) on the night before his big medical school exam turns into a night of over-indulgence and debauchery.

The comedy opens Friday at Beacon Cinema in Pittsfield, Berkshire Mall Cinema 10 in Lanesborough, and North Adams Movieplex 8. on stage

Shakespeare x 10

The BCC Players will present its winter production of Shakespeare's "Love and Greed" at the Boland Theatre on the Berkshire Community College campus Friday through Sunday.

The story uses text from 10 of Shakespeare's plays. Performances are 8 p.m Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets may be purchased at the box office prior to each performance.

10-minute plays

"10X10 New Play Festival," 10 new 10-minute plays by 10 playwrights, begins at 7:30 tonight and runs through Sunday at Barrington Stage Company, Sydelle and Lee Blatt Performing Arts Center, 36 Linden St., Pittsfield.
