Austerlitz, N.Y.: Community invited to Holiday Sing

The Austerlitz Historical Society welcomes the community to its 23rd annual Holiday Sing at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, in its 1850s church on Route 22.

The event will feature traditional hymns, carols and other songs featured in the church for more than a century. Readings of texts include "Twas the Night Before Christmas" and "Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus."

Pat O'Shea will provide accompaniment on the keyboard and Stephanie Tyski will play the violin. Phil Palladino will serve as master of ceremonies.

Holiday refreshments, including mulled cider and home-made baked goods, will follow the free program.
