Authorities: 10 in custody after Boston bar attack

BOSTON >> Ten men have been taken into custody in connection with a Boston bar fight in January that left a man seriously injured.

The Suffolk district attorney's office says nine men were arraigned this month, another man was already in custody on another charge and two other suspects are being sought.

The men are charged with assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Police say the victim was attacked by about 20 men at a pub in the city's Brighton neighborhood around 1 a.m. on Jan. 24. The attackers allegedly used fists, glass, bottles and chairs in the altercation.

Authorities haven't identified the victim. It's not clear what his current condition is.

Police used surveillance video to identify the suspects.
