Barrington Stage Company: Local actors sought
PITTSFIELD -- Barrington Stage Company will be auditioning local nonunion actors for two roles in BSC’s fall production of Arthur Miller’s adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s "An Enemy of the People" Aug. 21, noon-2, at Boyd-Quinson Mainstage, 30 Union St.
Available roles are The Drunk/Rabble Rouser and Morten Stockmann, 12-14-years old.
Rehearsals begin Sept. 9 and continue through Oct. 1. The drama performs Oct. 2 through 19.
Actors auditioning for The Drunk/Rabble Rouser should prepare a monologue in the style of Arthur Miller.
All those auditioning will be asked to read a scene from the play. Scenes will be available for audition. Actors also should bring a resume and a headshot.
