Becket: Athenaeum offers Mass Audubon discount passes

The Becket Athenaeum is participating in Mass Audubon’s Library Partners program as a way of providing individuals and families in its service area with access to inexpensive, fun and educational outdoor activities.

Library patrons can use the Becket Athenaeum’s pass to visit more than 50 Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuaries from the Berkshires to the Cape and islands at the discounted rate of just $2 per person (for up to four people per pass).

For those interested in bird watching, Mass Audubon offers programs for beginning to expert birders, and many opportunities to volunteer and participate in citizen science to help protect wildlife and wild lands.
