Berkshire County: Arbor Day poetry contest open to students


Berkshire Conservation District is hosting a poetry contest in honor of National Arbor Day with the theme "We All Need Trees." The contest open to Berkshire County students in kindergarten through grade 12.

Poems should be no longer than one page and can be printed or handwritten, if legible.

Include the student's name, school name, grade, mailing address, and phone number on the back of the poem.

Entries must be received by Friday, April 8. Mail or drop off at the office: Berkshire Conservation District, 78 Center St., Suite 206, Pittsfield, MA 01201.

Winners will receive a free gift on Seedling Sale Day, Saturday, May 7, at Springside Park, Pittsfield.
