Berkshire County high school soccer roundup: Mount Greylock boys shut out Monument Mountain

WILLIAMSTOWN — The Mount Greylock boys soccer team wasn't going to play two rocky games in a row. Thursday night, the Mounties put on a show.

Sam Dils and Brady Foehl each scored a goal and an assist as the Mounties (2-1-1, 2-1), losers to Pittsfield earlier this week, scored a 4-0 win over winless Monument Mountain (0-3-0, 0-3-0).

"We did a good job bouncing back from our disappointing effort on Tuesday," Greylock coach Blair Dils wrote in an email. "It was a complete team effort. We're looking forward to our game with Lenox [on Tuesday]."

Tyler Marten got an assist on Foehl's goal at the 10-minute mark, which put Greylock ahead for keeps.

David Falk had four saves to earn the shutout.
