The Wassermann-Streit Y’DIYAH Memorial Fund is accepting grant applications through Nov. 1. Grants are available to individuals, groups, schools, libraries and other nonprofit organizations serving Berkshire County, northwest Litchfield County in Connecticut, Columbia County in New York and northeast Dutchess County in New York. The grants are for quality, non-doctrinaire materials and projects that educate about the heritage, history, customs and culture of traditional Judaism.

Individuals may apply provided they have a fiscal sponsor. Applications are available at www.berkshiretaconic.org/grantseekers.

The Wassermann-Streit Y’DIYAH Memorial Fund was established in 1999 as an endowment at Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation to foster an understanding of the diverse aspects of Judaism.
