Sheffield Historical Society Spiritfest

Sunday: ‘The Children,' a scary locally made film, shown at Dewey Hall in Sheffield at 7:30 p.m.

Monday: Pumpkin carving contest at 3 p.m.

Tuesday: Zombie and pumpkin walk 6:30 p.m. to enjoy scarecrows and jack-o-lanterns

Admission: Free for film and pumpkin walk.
For pumpkin carving, $5 per pumpkin.

Stockbridge Library pumpkin walk

When: Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. before the Stockbridge Halloween Parade

The parade begins at 6 p.m. and marches from the corner of Main and Pine streets to the Town Office for cider and doughnuts.

John F.X. Keator memorial pumpkin walk

Hayrides, bonfire, carved pumpkin showcase, magic and trick-or-treating

When: 6 to 9 tonight

Where: Washington Town Park

Pumpkin carving: tonight from 6 to 8 p.m.
and Friday from 10 a.m. onward
at the Washington Town Hall, 8 Summit Hill Road

Admission: Free, and all are welcome
