Berkshire County: Soul Prophet micro tour announced

Singer-songwriter Noel, aka Soul Prophet, returns to Berkshire County for the Harlequin Hipster Tour with his blend of original contemporary folk, blues and acoustic rock.

Soul Prophet & The Faithless Few will perform at 8 p.m. Thursday, July 28, at The Down County Social Club, Sheffield; 8 p.m. Friday, July 29, at Bounti-fare Restaurant, Adams; and 11 a.m. Sunday, July 31, at Dottie's Coffeehouse, Pittsfield.

Noel was a familiar face on the local arts scene in the late 1980s and throughout the 1990s, first as a featured actor with The Berkshire Public Theater, and then as the frontman for the reggae-rock band, Dredi.

He will be accompanied by former Dredi guitarist Bryan House on bass, and Derrick Rodgers on drums.
