Berkshire County students earn college degrees


Albany Law School

Kristin Rogers of Pittsfield graduated May 16 with a juris doctor degree. Becker College


Samantha Ashley Gooch of Pittsfield graduated with high honors on May 10 earning an associate of science degree in veterinary science.

Ithaca College

Ithaca, N.Y.

The following students graduated from the School of Humanities and Sciences in May:

Hanna Plager of Lenox earned a degree in art education.

Rebecca Sibner of Pittsfield earned a degree in environmental studies.

Alice Crane of Dalton earned a degree in culture and communication.

Plymouth State University

Plymouth, N.H.

Dillon Bissell of Pittsfield graduated May 17 with a bachelor of science degree in interdisciplinary studies.

University at Albany

Albany, N.Y.

The following students received master's degrees during a commencement ceremony in May:

Amy Robandt of Becket earned a master's degree in social work.

Sandra Martin of Egremont earned a master's degree in public health.

Jessica Dennis of Lanesborough earned a master's degree in public health.

University of South Florida

Tampa, Fla.

Meryl Anne McTigue, daughter of Philip McTigue of Great Barrington, graduated from the university's School of Education with a degree in elementary education with honors.

McTigue has accepted a teaching position with the Hillsborough County (Fla.) Department of Education beginning in August. She will be teaching first grade.
