Berkshire South receives two grants

GREAT BARRINGTON -- The Berkshire South Regional Community Center has received two grants totaling $7,000 that will be used to enhance its services.

The center has received a $5,000 grant from the Berkshire Bank Foundation to support the center's Teen Leadership Training, and a $2,000 grant from the Coolidge Hill Foundation in support of its recent purchase of therapy pool access stairs for the Norris Aquatics Center.

Now in its third year as a summer-based program, TLT involves three weeks of experiential learning for youngsters ages 13-15.
