BerkshireWorks events for this week
PITTSFIELD -- The BerkshireWorks Career Center has a variety of workshops and events scheduled this week.
A Career Center seminar takes place from 2 to 3 p.m. today. An overview of services, resources and options available at BerkshireWorks will be discussed. Registration is required, and can be accomplished by calling (413) 499-2220 ext. 10 or by going to berkshireworks.org.
On Thursday, North County Job Search will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the Adams Visitors Center, and 1 to 4 p.m. at the North Adams Public Library. Walk-ins are welcome.
Also on Thursday, a seminar titled "Interview More Effectively" will take place from 10 a.m. to noon. Presenting a positive first impression, knowing what to expect, and preparation for each stage of the interview will be discussed. On Wednesday, the Elder Services Senior Aid Program will take place from 10 a.m. to noon. Elder Services senior aide positions are available. Applicants must be age 55 or older, and income eligible. Registration: berkshireworks.org.
