Berkshire Humane Society
Berkshire County founded its humane society 22 years ago to care for homeless pets from gerbils to great danes. The shelter has expanded to include a dog school, Purradise cat shelter at 301 Stockbridge Road in Great Barrington, a volunteer program, satellite adoptions, a newly opened Catwalk resale boutique at 325 Stockbridge Road in Great Barrington and Camp Humane summer programs for kids.
