Ice cream social
Wild Oats Market will hold its annual ice cream social from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 30.
Make your own sundae with local ice cream donated by Bart's, High Lawn Farm and SoCo Creamery. The cost is $3 for kids 12 and younger, and $5 for everyone else. All proceeds will benefit the Louison House/Family Life Support Center, which was recently affected by a fire.
The market is at 320 Main St., Williamstown.
Downstreet Art pie sale
Naomi Chapter No. 17, Order of the Eastern Star, is sponsoring a homemade pie sale on Holden Street, North Adams, during the DownStreet Art Night, from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 28.
Whole pies are $10 each; by the slice is $3.
The 17th annual Blueberry Festival, sponsored by the Austerlitz (N.Y.) Historical Society, takes place on Sunday, July 31, rain or shine.
Activities begin at 9 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m. at Old Austerlitz on Route 22, one mile south of the Route 203 intersection.
Admission is $7 for adults and free for children younger than 12.
Visitors can enjoy blueberry treats all day, starting with the blueberry pancake breakfast served from 9 to 11:30 a.m. for a separate fee of $7 for adults, $3 for children.
Turkey dinner in Readsboro
The South Readsboro Community Club will hold a turkey dinner with all the trimmings from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 30. There will be homemade pies for dessert.
Dinners for adults will be $12, children ages 5 to 11, $6.
The clubhouse is on Boisley Hill Road in Readsboro, Vt.
St. John Paul II Parish is hosting a Polish Picnic featuring The Rymanowski Brothers Orchestra on Sunday, July 31, beginning at noon at the Polanka Picnic Grounds on Mill Street, Adams.
A Mass will precede the picnic at 11 a.m. under the large pavilion. The picnic is free for those attending Mass. Those coming in after noon will be charged $5 for adults, children 12 and younger are free.
The Rymanowski Brothers Orchestra will play from 1 to 5 p.m. Polish and American food and legal beverages will be for sale beginning at noon.
