Boston police charge two men in unresolved 2004 killing
BOSTON >> Police have arrested two men in connection with a nearly 12-year-old unsolved homicide in Boston.
Police say 36-year-old Kevin Graham and 32-year-old Ellis Golden were charged with murder Thursday in the August 2004 shooting death of Thomas Hawkins.
The 38-year-old Hawkins was found by officers suffering from a gunshot wound in the city's Dorchester neighborhood. He was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he died.
The motive was not disclosed.
Commissioner William Evans says justice never ends until those responsible are "held accountable for their cowardly acts."
Golden is scheduled to be arraigned Friday. Graham, already behind bars on an unrelated matter, will be arraigned at a later time.
Prosecutors do not have attorneys for the men listed.
