Berkshire Community College participates in the national educational travel program, Elderhostel, offering 10 - 13 program weeks each year, from June to November. These are held at the Crowne Plaza Pittsfield.

Almost 300 people from around the country, as well as area residents, come to attend a week of courses at very reasonable rates, with top-notch faculty. BCC Elderhostel course topics include theatre, music, art, Berkshire cultural venues, hiking, and an intergenerational circus camp week. Local residents over 55 years of age are invited to attend at reduced commuter rates. For more information:

The Berkshire Institute for Lifetime Learning (BILL)

BILL is designed for people who enjoy taking challenging and informative adult level courses in an academic atmosphere. There are spring, fall and winter semesters. Classes are held during the day on the campuses of Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield, Williams College, Clark Museum in Williamstown, and Simon's Rock in Great Barrington. Special events include trips to museums, theaters, historic sites, community programs of special interest, and social events. Faculty consists of current and retired faculty of BCC, Williams College and Simons Rock College, as well as community residents and BILL members with special expertise.
