BSO slates free community chamber concert Sunday

PITTSFIELD >> The Boston Symphony Orchestra is presenting a free community chamber concert beginning at 2:30 Sunday afternoon at Barrington Stage Company's Boyd-Quinson Mainstage at 30 Union St.

The program opens with an artistic exchange performance featuring members of the Elayne P. Bernstein Ensemble of Berkshire Children and Families' Kids 4 Harmony.

At 3, a complement of BSO musicians will perform Mozart's String Quintet in E-flat, K.614 and Schumann's Piano Quintet in E-flat, Op. 44

The musicians are Xin Ding and Catherine French, violins; Wesley Collins and Daniel Getz, violas; Owen Young, cello; and Hugh Hinton, piano

A coffee and dessert reception for the audience and musicians will follow the concert.
