Seminar to focus on finances for nonprofits, supporters

The Nonprofit Center of the Berkshires will hold "Mission Centric Finance for Nonprofits and Supporters" from 9 to 11 a.m. Oct. 19 at Hevreh, 270 State Road.

The free session will focus on values-informed financial stewardship. It is geared toward foundations, endowments, executive directors, finance and investment committees and philanthropists.

Speakers include investment advisor Jerry Schwartz and financial planner Bernard C. Murphy.

Williamstown natives Jaycee Markovic and Christine Walsh have opened Berkshire Natural Beauty LLC, an organic skincare company.

Markovic is a cosmetologist with over 20 years of experience in skin, hair and nail care and most recently served as a state-registered cosmetology instructor.
