Resume/interview skills to be taught at Construct Inc.

A program on presentation and interviewing skills will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Construct Inc., 41 Mahaiwe St.

The session is being facilicated by Goodwill's Manager of Workforce Development, and Construct's Employment Specialist. It will prepare participants how to write an effective resume and improve presentation skills for job interviewing. Admission is free.

BYP to hold professional development workshop

The Berkshire Young Professionals will hold "Smart Moves for the Deskbound," a BYP Professional Development Series workshop from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 20 at Allegrone Cos., 150 Pittsfield Road.

BYP Steering Committee member Karden Rabin, the founder of boundless Integrative Wellness and Movenomics, will hold an experiential workship on how to heal pain throughout the body.

The cost is free for BYP cardholder, and $5 for guests at the door.

1Berkshire holding Good News Business Salute

1Berkshire will hold a Good New Business Salute on Oct. 26 at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. The hours are 5 to 7 p.m.

Businesses being honored include Blue Rider Stables in Great Barrington, Haven Cafe & Bakery in Lenox and Great Barrington, and H&S Auto Parts and Service in Pittsfield.

The cost is $35 for members, $45 for nonmembers.
