1Berkshire is opening the nomination process for its sixth annual Berkshire Trendsetter Awards.
The Trendsetter Awards celebrate outstanding organizations and individuals whose achievement, innovation and/or commitment has strengthened the regional economy and helped the Berkshires grow.
The top finalists will be honored and final winners announced at the Celebrate the Berkshires event on Thursday, Sept. 15 at Tanglewood. Finalists will be notified in mid-July.
Nominations close on Friday, July 1. Online nomination forms are available at www.1berkshire.com.
Zonta Club of Berkshire County to meet on Monday
A representative of the Tanzanian Nursing Program will speak when the Zonta Club of Berkshire County meets on Monday at Mazzeo's Ristorante.
The meeting begins at 5 p.m. It will include a brief networking time, a business meeting, the speaker program and dinner.
Zonta International is a worldwide service organization working to advance the status of women. Guests are welcome at all meetings, but reservations are required for dinner.

Insurance rep to speak at BAPLS monthly meeting
Michael "Mike" Supple of WFG National Title Insurance Company will speak on TRID and title insurance when the Berkshire Association for Paralegals and Legal Secretaries meets on Wednesday, April 13 at Zucchini's Restaurant, 1331 North St.
