AIM to honor three Berkshire employers on Sept. 20

Associated Industries of Massachusetts will honor three Berkshire County employers for their contributions to the state economy at a ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 20 in Pittsfield.

AIM President and CEO Richard C. Lord, a North Adams native, will present awards to Unistress Corporation of Pittsfield, The Chamberlain Group of Great Barrington, and Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort of Hancock at Interprint Inc. in Pittsfield. The ceremony will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Unistress Corporation and The Chamberlain Group recently received 2016 Next Century Awards from AIM. Jiminy Peak recently received the inaugural AIM Sustainability Award recognizing excellence in environmental stewardship.

Two county businesses now registered as U-Haul dealers

New Boston Crane Service & Sleds at 85 South Main St. in Sandisfield and Anthony's Auto Electronics at 1478 East St. in Pittsfield have signed with U-Haul Company of Massachusetts and Ohio to become U-Haul neighborhood dealers.

New Boston will offer U-Haul trucks, trailers, towing equipment, support rental items and in-store pickup for boxes. Anthony's will offer U-Haul trucks, trailers, towing equipment and support rental items.

Hours of operation for U-Haul rentals at New Boston are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and Saturday and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. After hours drop-off is available. At Anthony's, the hours of operation are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
