Entenmann's products recalled

Bimbo Bakeries USA of Pennsylvania has issued voluntary recalls of three Entenmann's products due to a choking and/or cutting hazard resulting from the presence of small pieces of plastic.

Small pieces of plastic were discovered in these products that were caused by a manufacturing failure at a contract manufacturer's bakery in Illinois. One injury has been reported.

In Massachusetts, the recalled items include: Entenmann's Little Bites Fudge Brownies 5 Pack (best by date, Oct. 8); and Little Bites Chocolate Chip Muffins 5 pack and 10 pack (best by date, Oct. 8).

Consumers should either dispose of these products or return them to place of purchase for a full refund. Questions/information: 800-984-0989 24 hours a day.

Nursing career fair at Williamstown Commons

Williamstown Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will hold a career fair for nursing positions from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15 at 25 Adams Road.

Information will be available on careers for nurses and nursing assistants. Williamstown Commons will offer on-site interviews and applications as well as tours of the facility.

City woman wins laser light contest from Berkshire Bank

Rebecca Horn of Pittsfield was recently selected the grand prize winner in Berkshire Bank's Six Flags New England Giveaway.

Horn received one Family 4-Pack Ultimate Experience at Six Flags New England during Laser Show Week, which took place from Aug. 10-14.
