Begrowicz joins energy consortium board
Patricia Begrowicz, the president and co-owner of Onyx Speciality Papers, has joined the board of directors of PowerOptions, an energy-buying consortium for nonprofits and public entities in need of dependable and affordable energy options.
Begrowicz has extensive board experience at a number of Massachusetts industrial and business committees, including the Berkshire Business Roundtable Executive Committee, and the Associated Industries of Massachusetts board of directors.
PowerOptions is the largest energy-buying consortium in Massachusetts, serving more than 500 nonprofit organizations and government entities with combined annual sales of roughly $200 million.
Mirke joins TD Bank's North Adams branch
Karl R. Mirke has been named assistant vice president, store manager of TD Bank's location on 90 Main St. in North Adams.
He is responsible for new business development, consumer and business lending, managing personnel and overseeing the store's day-to-day operations. The branch serves Adams, Cheshire, Clarksburg, North Adams and Readsboro and Stamford, Vt.
Mirke has 11 years of retail banking experience. He served as assistant branch manager at Citizens Bank in Pittsfield before joining TD Bank.
An Adams resident who grew up in Clarksburg, Mirke graduated from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in 2003, and from Drury High School in 1998.
Hassan named president of state Realtors Alliance
Barb Davis-Hassan of Pittsfield, broker/owner of Barb Hassan Realty Inc., has been installed as the 2016 president of the Realtors Commercial Alliance of Massachusetts.
A Realtor since 1988, Davis-Hassan holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM); the Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB); the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS); and Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) designations. She has been a board member of the RCA-MA since 2008.
Headquartered in Auburn, RCA-MA is the only Realtor association in Massachusetts specifically for commercial real estate agents.
