Berkshire AHEC workshop for medical interpreters
Berkshire Area Health Education Center Inc. will hold a five hour workshop for medical interpreters on Saturday, Feb. 20 at UMASS Center in Springfield. In case of snow, the makeup date will be Feb. 27.
The hours are 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fee is $60.
The information session will discuss how medical interpreters can focus on the process and emotion during a mental health interpreting encounter, with a focus on mood disorders and PTSD.

Citizens Bank applications for Change in Action program
Citizens Bank, which has offices in North Adams and Pittsfield, is accepting applications for the second 2016 Champion in Action. The program provides financial, volunteer, and public relations support to local nonprofits.
The topic for this round of funding is collective impact. The deadline to submit applications is 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26. Awardees will be announced in July.

Job Fair at Kimball Farms Nursing Center on Feb. 24
Kimball Farms Nursing Care Center will host a career job fair for nursing assistants and other positions on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 235 Walker St. in Lenox.
Information will be available for nursing assistants, shadow aides, hospitality aides, and per diem activity assistants.
