Berkshire Bank honored by Boston Business Journal

Berkshire Bank was named one of Massachusetts's most charitable companies by the Boston Business Journal at the publication's annual Corporate Citizenship Summit in Boston on Sept. 8.

Berkshire ranked 42nd for total financial contributions with over $1.27 million donated in Massachusetts alone and more than $2 million donated overall. Massachusetts based bank employees also donated more than 27,000 hours of community service.

Real estate tax possession auction scheduled

Strategic Auction Alliance will conduct an auction of eight tax possession properties in Florida on Thursday, Oct. 6.

The public auction takes place at 4 p.m. at Florida Town Hall, 378 Mohawk Trail in Drury. Registration begins at 3:30 p.m.

Creative networking event at Berkshire Museum

1Berkshire will host Spark!, a creative networking event, on Thursday, Oct. 6 at the Berkshire Museum, 39 South St.

The speakers will include the heads of several Berkshire cultural entities: Allyn Burrows of Shakespeare & Co.; Pamela Tatge of Jacob's Pillow; Peter Taylor of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation; and Jennifer Trainer Thompson of Hancock Shaker Village.
