Berkshire Direct builds website for global company in Mass.

Innovara of South Hadley, a global company that provides business services and training to the medical and pharmaceutical industries, recently launched a new WordPress website built by Berkshire Direct.

The site can be accessed on all devices, while delivering the self-service benefits that have made WordPress the most popular CMS on the Internet, according to Berkshire Direct's owner, Allen Jezouit.

Berkshire Direct, located at 616 Main St., provides website design and development services.

Mulvey joins Fairfield Suites as new sales director

Lynda Mulvey has been appointed director of sales of the Fairfield Inn & Suites at 249 Stockbridge Road, according to Emerald Hospitality Associates.

She will be responsible for leading and directing the development and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans in the hotel's continuing to deliver outstanding guest service. Mulvey has 20 years plus experience in sales and customer service.

Fairfield Inn & Suites, the only Marriott in the Berkshires, is owned by Vijay Mahida and managed by Emerald Hospitality Associates.

Dunkin' Donuts donates defibrillators to police dept.

Dunkin' Donuts and the Spirit of Blue Foundation donated two automated external defibrillators to the Lanesborough Police Department on March 9.

The Lanesborough Police Department was one of 17 in the northeast chosen by the Spirit of Blue Foundation to receive the safety equipment following a $100,000 donation to the organization by the Dunkin' Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation.

The defibrillators, valued at $4,000, will be kept in patrol cars to be used in emergency situations.
