Oncology radiology services open at Hillcrest Monday
Berkshire Health Systems will open its radiology oncology services at its new location at the BMC Cancer Center on the Hillcrest campus of BMC on Monday.
The move brings both radiation oncology and hematology oncology into a single location at the Hillcrest campus of BMC and completes a $6 million investment by BHS in radiation oncology. The BMC Cancer Center is located at 165 Tor Court.
The new radiation oncology clinic at BMC Cancer Center has state-of-the-art technology featuring two new linear accelerators.
BTCF programming for Center for Nonprofit Excellence
The Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation is offering scholarships to two world-class professional development programs at Harvard Business School that focus on nonprofit management.
Both programs are included in 2016 programming for Berkshire Taconic's Center for Nonprofit Excellence.
Two scholarships, valued at $5,500 each, are available for Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management, a six-day program that takes place in July. The application deadline is Tuesday, March 1. Information: www.berkshiretaconic.org/HarvardSPNE.
One scholarship, valued at $4,500, is available for Governing for Nonprofit Excellence a four-day course that takes place in October. The application deadline is Monday, Aug. 8.
The Center for Nonprofit Excellence will also hold its annual Seminars in Nonprofit Excellence series, which provides training and professional development to staff and boards from nonprofits of all sizes.
The schedule will be released in July. The series takes place in the fall.
