Berkshire Taconic shares regional fundraising honor

The Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation has been chosen to receive the President's Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals Western MA Chapter.

Berkshire Taconic will share the President's Award with the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts.

The awards will be presented at AFP's Philanthropy Day luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at the Log Cabin in Holyoke. AFP sponsors National Philanthropy Day world-wide.

Williamstown Chamber to hold annual meeting next week

The Williamstown Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2015 annual meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at the 1896 House.

The hours are 5 to 7:30 p.m. A presentation on the Chamber's past activities and future plans by Town Manager Jason Hoch will take place.

Meetup for Women in Business at Cloud85

A Berkshire County Meetup for Women in Business will take place on Thursday, Nov. 19 at Cloud85 Co-Working Space, 885 Main St., suite 224. The hours are 5 to 7 p.m.

The group is designed to bring together women in the North Berkshires, Southern Bennington County and surrounding areas to share their strategies for success and make new connections.

Venture capitalist and entrepreneur Laurie Thomsen will speak on "Giving Yourself Permission to Put Yourself Out There."
