BIC to be discussed at IEEE dinner meeting on May 5
Rod Jane, the project director of the Berkshire Innovation Center, will provide an overview of the project when the Berkshire Section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers holds a dinner meeting on Thursday, May 5 at Cork 'N Hearth Restaurant on Route 20.
Cocktails take place at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7. The presentation will take place after dinner.
The price for IEEE members and one guest is $20 per person. The price for non-members is $45. Those not eating dinner will be admitted free.

Clark holding first event for young professionals
The Clark Art Institute will holds its first Clark After Hours event for young professionals at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 5 in the Clark Center.
Kate Barber from Makers' Mill in North Adams will lead a silk screening session.

Fundraiser to mark Stanton Home's 30th anniversary
Stanton Home, which provides care for people with special needs, will hold a pig roast fundraiser to celebrate the facility's 30th anniversary on Sunday, May 15.
The event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at 205 North Plain Road in Great Barrington. A silent auction will also take place.
Tickets are $100 per person. RSVP is required by Sunday, May 1.
