BTCF holding resident survey to assess community needs
The Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation is conducting an online survey to deepen its understanding of the needs and priorities of residents in its four county region.
Full-time, part-time and seasonal residents are encouraged to participate in the survey, which runs through Friday, Oct. 28. The survey can be accessed at www.BTCFsurvey.com.
Respondents over the age of 18 who complete the survey will be eligible to enter a drawing for an iPad Pro. The findings will be shared with the public in 2017.
Big Y raising funds for breast cancer, including BMC
All 63 Big Y Supermarkets, including those located in Berkshire County, will donate a portion of the proceeds from their floral and produce departments during the month of October to support 25 local breast cancer support groups throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut.
In Berkshire County, the beneficiaries include the Women's Imaging Center at Berkshire Medical Center. Information: bigy.com.
Greylock launches CardValet mobile app
The Greylock Federal Credit Union is launching CardValet, a new debit management and fraud mitigation tool.

Gastroenterologist joins SVMC
Dr. Adnan Sohail has joined the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Putnam Medical Group at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. He is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
