Community Development Director to speak at RHABC
Pittsfield Community Development Director Janis Akerstrom will speak when the Rental Housing Association of Berkshire County holds its monthly meeting at Zucchini's Restaurant on Tuesday, April 19.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. A optional dinner for $22 will be served at 6:30 p.m.
Other speakers will include Jay Marion, the assistant vice president of commercial lines for Greylock Insurance and Julie Nichols, accounts manager of commercial lines.
RHABC is an organization beneficial to all landlords whether they have single or multiple properties.

Salisbury Bank announces 2016 scholarship program
Salisbury Bank has announced its 2016 "Time to Shine" scholarship program, which assists students with proven financial needs that are already making a difference in their communities.
Those eligible to receive scholarships in Berkshire County are students in either the Southern Berkshire Regional School District or the Berkshire Hills Regional School District.

Premium Outlets completes renovations at three stores
The Brooks Brothers, Calvin Klein and Clark Outlets stores have been renovated at the Lee Premium Outlets.
Brooks Brothers has undergone a full renovation that includes a new floor, ceiling and more spacious dressing room. The Calvin Klein and Clarks Outlets stores have been remodeled. Carter's, a children's apparel store, is being renovated now.
