Business Briefs: Fellowship program for women in finance

BOSTON >> State Treasurer Deb Goldberg has established the newly created "Massachusetts Women in Finance Fellowship" an initiative that will place state women undergraduate students in finance-related internships. The Fellowship is the first of its kind within the state Treasury.

The Fellowship seeks to identify and foster female talent for the financial services industry, build a network and pipeline for women in finance, and advocate for the placement of women in leadership roles.

The deadline for candidates to submit applications is Friday, April 8. The program begins in June and will run for 10 weeks.
