Financial advisor receives three company awards

Financial Advisor Bob Chapman of Edward Jones in Pittsfield received the firm's exclusive Spirit of Partnership Award, Eagle Award and the coveted Zeke McIntyre Pioneer Award at the company's annual meeting in June.

All three awards recognize financial advisors that reach a high level of success and commitment to customer service excellence.

"Bob has demonstrated unyielding dedication and enthusiasm for his business of serving individual investors," said Edward Jones' Managing Partner Jim Weddle. "Chapman has reached a benchmark in his career that deserves recognition."

Berkshire Bank expands wealth management team

Elizabeth Gore has been appointed to SVP, Trust Operations and Compliance, and Janice Ward to SVP, Wealth Advisor and Sr. Fiduciary Officer for Berkshire Bank's Wealth Management team,

A graduate of the New England School of Banking at Williams College with a degree in trust banking, Gore has spent 28 of her 35 years in the banking industry at Berkshire Bank.

In her new position, Gore will oversee all aspects of operating and compliance for the Wealth Management Group and the department's trust accounting systems.

Ward holds a Juris Doctor from Western New England University and is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and New York. She also obtained her designation as a Certified Financial Planner in 2011. Ward began her career at Berkshire Bank in 2012.

In her new role, Ward will oversee various fiduciary activities including executor and trustee services and financing planning throughout the Berkshire Bank Wealth Management footprint.


Tucker Associates adds Jarck as new partner

Matthew Jarck has joined Tucker Associates Real Estate as a partner in the firm.

Jarck has more than 30 years of business development, sales and sales and management experience, including the last 10 as northeast regional sales manager for Husqvarna. He recently passed the national and state exam for real estate associates and will play a key role in the management of the business.

Tucker is one of the longest standing independent real estate firms in Berkshire County.
