Gregg, Drake join CHP Board of Trustees

Brian W. Drake of Williamstown and Richard H. Gregg of Lenox have joined Community Health Program's Board of Trustees.

A Lenox resident for 26 years, Gregg is the director of programs in healthcare administration, chair of the Healthcare Administration Department and a professor of Healthcare Administration at Suffolk University's Sawyer Business School in Boston.

He is a past director and CEO of the Kripalu Center. Gregg's wife, Dr. Linda Smothers, is a medical director of the Brien Center in Pittsfield and a member of the medical staff at Berkshire Medical Center.

A Williamstown native, Drake is vice president of employee benefits at Truth North Insurance in Williamstown, and also serves as a consultant for Benemax Inc., another insurance-related business. He has worked for numerous insurance companies including Allstate, Guardian Life Insurance and Assurant.

BTCF soliciting proposals for economic planning

The Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation's HousingUS initiative is soliciting proposals from nonprofits, community organizations and public agencies to plan and convene outreach activities that bring residents together to explore the interrelated issues of affordable housing, economic development and town center vitality.

Grants of up to $10,000 will be available for projects that result in action-oriented community development strategies or create broader public awareness of the elements of healthy and resilient communities, including the availability of affordable housing.

Lenox resident named VP of TRC firm in Lowell

Lenox resident Brenda Reynolds has joined TRC Companies Inc. of Lowell as vice president of human resources.

In her new role, Reynolds will lead TRC's HR organization to advance the company's position as the employer of choice in the engineering and construction industry.

A publicly traded company, TRC is a recognized leader in engineering, environmental consulting and construction-management services.
