Greylock Credit Union completes dementia training
The Greylock Federal Credit Union has become the first Berkshire business to complete Home Instead Senior Care's Home Instead Alzheimer's Friendly Business training for 100 percent of its employees.
Greylock is planning to integrate the training into the hiring process. This online education program has been listed as a resource for local businesses by Dementia Friendly America, www.dfamerica.org.

NBCC holding community naloxone trainings
The Northern Berkshire Community Coalition is holding a series of community naloxone, also referred to as Narcan, trainings at several sites in North Adams.
The sessions are scheduled for Wednesday at the UNO Community Center, 157 River St,; Wednesday, Sept. 7 at the North Berkshire YMCA; Wednesday, Sept. 21 at the Mohawk Forest Community Room; and Tuesday, Oct. 3 at the Greylock Valley Community Room. All sessions take place from 6 to 9 p.m.
