IEEE Network dinner meeting on financial planning Dec. 3

The Berkshire Section of the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers will hold a Berkshire Consultants Network Dinner Meeting on Thursday, Dec. 3 at Jae's Asian Bistro, 55 Pittsfield Lenox Road (Route 7).

Stephen Hodgetts and Tucker Roeder of McAdam Financial LLC of Boston will present, "Tax Reduction with Financial Planning."

Cocktails take place at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7. The presentation will take place after dinner.

The cost is $20 for IEEE members and one guest, and $40 for non-members. Those who do not eat dinner will be admitted free.

Pittsfield dentist Yantovsky acquires new technology

Dentist Natalya Yantovsky has acquired a new 3D digital impression system that serves as an intraoral scanner, intraoral camera and shade measurement all.

The 3D scanning allows for a quicker and more comfortable experiences, improved accuracy and better final restoration, which allows for faster appointments, meaning the patient spends less time in the dentist's chair.

Tractor Supply raises $800,000 for 4-H Clubs

Tractor Supply Company, which has outlets in North Adams and Pittsfield, raised $893,917 for 4-H programs across the country during its 11-day national Paper Clover fall fundraising campaign during the month of October.

Seventy percent of the funds raised will benefit state and local 4-H youth development programs, and grant scholarships for 4-H youth in the communities where Tractor Supply stores are located.
