Iredale Cosmetics is honored for exporting excellence

Iredale Cosmetics is one of three Massachusetts companies and 123 firms nationwide that have received the President's "E" Award for exporting excellence.

Representatives from each company were presented with their awards from Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker during a recent ceremony in Washington, D.C.

They were honored for their significant contributions to increasing America's overall exports or providing export services over a four year period.

The "E" Award ceremony is one of the highlights of World Trade Month, a month-long celebration of the benefits that U.S. exports bring to national, state and local economies through job creation and growth.

Premium Outlets to dedicate military parking spaces

Business and civic leaders will be on hand Friday when Lee Premium Outlets unveils two reserved Veteran/Military parking spaces with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the shopping complex on Friday.

The event takes place at 10 a.m. in the parking lot located in front of the Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store. The public is invited to attend. U.S. Army recruitment officers will remain on site at the NIKE Factory store until 3 p.m.

State Rep. William "Smitty" Pignatelli, Lee Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Colleen Henry and Lee Chamber of Commerce Board President Franck Tessier are expected to attend.
