MedExpress opens urgent care clinic in Pittsfield

MedExpress officially opened a neighborhood medical center in Pittsfield on Wednesday.

Located at 999 Dalton Ave., the facility offers a broad scope of urgent care, employer health and wellness and prevention services.

As a welcoming gift to the community, MedExpress is offering free sports, camp and school physicals to patients ages 5 and up until July 6.

Berkshire Bank employees complete 56 projects

Berkshire Bank employees logged more than 4,500 hours of community service on 56 projects throughout the bank's coverage area on June 7.

More than 95 percent (1,161) of Berkshire Bank's employees participated, contributing a value of $128,000 that helped 54 different nonprofit organizations and impacted more than 100,000 individuals.

Students receive scholarships from Salisbury Bank

Forest Davis-Hollander of Monument Mountain High School and Shane Biernacki of Mount Everett High School are among eight students that have received funding through Salisbury Bank's 2016 Annual Scholarship program.

Eight scholarships in the amount of $2,500 were awarded to assist eligible students seeking a college degree in a variety of programs.

ADAMS
Adams Community Bank employees raise $25,000

The employees of Adams Community bank raised $25,202 for local cancer organizations Moments House and Pop Cares through a series of fundraising events.

They included dress down days, and cornhole and golf tournaments.
