MountainOne promotes two longtime employees
Alicia Benoit has been appointed to electronic banking officer, and Lisa Mineau to human resources officer at MountainOne Bank, the financial institution has announced.
Benoit, who has been with MountainOne since 1986, is responsible for the implementation, enhancement and support of electronic deposit products and services for MountainOne Bank.
Mineau, who joined MountainOne in 1981, has served the bank in many capacities including payroll administrator and customer service representative. As human resources office, she will be actively involved in many aspects of the hiring process, employee benefits enrollment, payroll administration and new employee training.
BFMC, BCC offering film production introductory course
Berkshire Film and Media Collaborative in association with Berkshire Community College is offering an introductory course on film production at BCC's South County campus.
The course will meet from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays from Jan. 20 to March 9. The cost is $275. Class size is limited.
No previous experience in film production is necessary. Students must be 16 years or older to participate.

Valenti to speak at BBPW monthly meeting on Feb. 1
Steven Valenti, the owner of Steven Valenti's Clothing Store in Pittsfield, will speak when Berkshire Business and Professional Women meets on Feb. 1 at Zucchini's Restaurant.
Networking is from 5:30 to 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 6.
