Pine Cone Hill holding meet-and-greet with founder

The Outlet at Pine Cone Hill will hold a meet-and-greet event with company founder and CEO Annie Selke from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16. The event will be held at the Outlet at Pine Cone Hill, 125 Pecks Road.

Selke will discuss the development process, share her latest design inspirations and answer questions from guests. Light refreshments will be served. The event is open to the public.

Company to mark 9/ll anniversary in traditional way

Tammy and Anthony Cracolici, who own Pure & Wholesome, and their sons Joseph and Nathan, on Sunday will continue to the 9/11 anniversary tradition they began 14 years ago by distributing the frozen treats that they sell to Pittsfield's fire stations. The business distributes Happy & Healthy Frozen treats to many Pittsfield businesses.

This year's fire station drop-offs will take place between 1 and 3 p.m. They began the tradition on the first anniversary of 9/11 in 2002.

"Honoring our nation's firefighters has become one of our most time-honored traditions," said the Cracolici's, who formed Pure & Wholesome in 1996.


Tri-town Chamber holding fall mixer at Eastover Sept. 20

The Tri-town Chamber of Commerce will hold its fall mixer from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at Eastover Estate & Retreat.

State rep. William "Smitty" Pignatelli, D-Lenox, will be the guest speaker. The event is hosted by the Lenox Chamber of Commerce.
