Rathbun-Briggs, Stoddard promoted at Greylock

Jodi Rathbun-Briggs has been promoted to senior vice president/chief lending officer, and Michael Stoddard to executive vice president by the Greylock Federal Credit Union.

Rathbun-Briggs previously served as vice president of commercial banking. She will replaced Chief Lending Officer Charles A. Bercury who is retiring at the end of 2015. She has been at Greylock for five years following a 10-year career in the banking industry.

Stoddard, who has been at Greylock since 2014, will continue in his role at the credit union's chief financial officer.

Before joining Greylock, Stoddard spent 30 years at the Concord Savings Bank in Concord, N.H. and Maine Bank & Trust in Portland, Maine. He held many leadership roles.

Main Street Hospitality Group honored by NTA

Main Street Hospitality Group has been named one of the winners of the National Tour Association's 2016 Distinguished Dozen Award, which is given by Courier, the NTA's official monthly magazine.

The Stockbridge-based group received the bronze award in the Independent/Boutique Hotel Property category. Tour operators voted to determine gold, silver and bronze awards in 12 categories in the fifth year of the Distinguished Dozen competition.

Based at the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, Main Street manages four independent hotels in the Berkshires including the Williams Inn in Williamstown, the Porches Inn at Mass MoCA in North Adams, and Hotel on North in Pittsfield.

Bickford appointed provost at Simon's Rock

Ian Bickford has been appointed provost of the Bard College at Simon's Rock: The Early College, according to President Leon Botstein.

A 1995 Simons's Rock graduate, Bickford will begin his term in January. He succeeds Peter Laipson, who is leaving Simon's Rock to become the Emily H. Fisher Research Fellow of Bard College, which he will hold through June 2017.

A scholar of early modern literature, Bickford is one of three siblings who graduated from Simon's Rock and went on to complete doctoral studies. He began at Bard in 2007 as a member of the faculty, first at Simon's Rock, then at the Bard High School Early College in Queens, N.Y.
