State gas prices continue to fall as new year begins
Gasoline prices in Massachusetts have continued to drop into the New Year.
AAA's Monday survey of state gas prices found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $1.96 per gallon, two cents less than last week.
The state price is now three cents below the national average for regular unleaded. A year ago at this time the price was 40 cents higher at $2.36.
The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 46 cents from a low of $1.83 to a high of $2.29.
Stone House Realtors earn prestigious ASP designation
Suzanne Crerar, the broker/owner of Stone House Properties LLC, and associate broker Victoria Ross are now serving the Berkshires as Accredited Staging Professionals.
Both Crerar and Rosee recently completed the intensive Accredited Staging Professional course in the greater Boston area. The ASP designation is the only professional staging designation that is recognized by the National Association of Realtors.
SVHC appoints Thurber as new senior gifts officer
Carson Thurber has been appointed senior gifts officer at the Southwestern Vermont Health Care Foundation, the organization has announced.
Thurber formerly served as assistant principal at Stratton Mountain School and vendor coordinator for Burton Snowboard Company in Burlington, Vt.
He has also owned and managed a fitness company in Boise, Ida. and interned with Capital Analyst in Quincy, Mass.
A resident of Woodford, Vt., Thurber holds a bachelor's degree from Babson College.
