SVHC president to speak at Williamstown Chamber

Southwestern Vermont Healthcare President and CEO Thomas A. Dee will give a presentation at an event hosted by the Williamstown Chamber of Commerce, the town of Williamstown and the Southwestern Vermont Healthcare Foundation on Tuesday, May 31.

The event takes place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Hops and Vines, 16 Water St. Other guests include Trey Dobson, chief medical officer for Dartmouth-Hitchcock Putnam Physicians; and Orion Howard, the medical director of the Southwestern Vermont Regional Cancer Center.

MLSC launching capital project, school solicitations

The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center will launch an open solicitation for life sciences related capital projects on Friday and an open solicitation for high school and middle school supply grants on Tuesday, May 31.

The competitive capital program solicitation covers capital projects for academic institutions, business incubators, and other state not-for-profit organizations,

The supply grants provide the ability to purchase equipment and supplies to train students in life sciences research and at public high schools and middle schools across Massachusetts.


BerkshireWorks job fair

The BerkshireWorks Career Center will host a job fair for Banana Republic and The Gap on Thursday at the career center at 160 North St.

The hours are 10 a.m. to noon.
