Two new directors join EDM

Jeremy Richardson and Brian Johnson have joined EDM Architecture as company directors, the firm has announced.

Richardson, who has over 16 years of experience, will oversee the firm's many concurrent projects as director and manager of engineering.

Johnson is a senior mechanical engineer with 23 years of technical expertise that includes previous director and leadership experience. Both men are natives of Massachusetts.

Based in Pittsfield, EDM is an architecture, engineering and management firm with offices in Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York.


Two Fairview nurses receive Clinical Ladder awards

Fairview Hospital CCU nurses Lee Ann Fleming-Hand and Holly LePrevost were honored for achieving Clinical Ladder RN III status at a recent Clinical Advancement celebration.

Fleming-Hand began her career at Fairview as a certified nursing assistant and has achieved her BSN degree. She was honored for her work to improve nursing care for suicidal patients including the development of policies, protocols, and an educational packet designed to train and increase then comfort level of staff when caring for their patient population.

LePrevost, who has also achieved her BSN degree, was honored for advancing her skills in CCU nursing through education and professional association.

Berkshire provides $38,000 to Habitat for Humanity

The Berkshire Bank Foundation is providing $38,000 to 12 New England Habitat for Humanity affiliates as part of its Hockey4Housing partnership with ESSN'scoverage of the Boston Bruins. Habitat's Central and Northern Berkshire chapters both received funds.
